We are sad to announce that on February 18, 2021, at the age of 74, Jewell Tapp of Kensett, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Colonel Owens and Bessie Hardy; and her siblings, Rewell Owens, Carol Owens, Bessie Lee Owens and Charles Owens.

She is survived by: her daughters, Leasa Cain (Bryant) of Kensett and Dwana Hadley of Spokane, Washington; her stepdaughter Nicole Young (EJ); her siblings, Linnie Mae Richardson of Kensett, Bobbie Ruth Hadley of Kensett, Doris Jean Williams of Jacksonville, Joyce Ann Owens of Portland, Rose Owens (Pree), Bessie Marie Hadley of Long Beach, California and Marshall Cowans of Michigan City, Indiana; her grandchildren, Bryant Cain II of Kensett, Andrew Steven Cain of Kensett, Joshua Le-Matthew Cain of Kensett, Antoine Hadley of Beebe and Cameron Hadley of Searcy; and her great grandchildren, Cody, Jordan, Jayceon and Jaila Hadley. She is also survived by other extended family and friends.

“Leasa, thinking of you and your family. Miss Jewell was a sweetheart that became my friend. She always told me she loved me and I loved her too. I will miss her a bunch. I loved seeing her and you! I would bump into you both at Walmart, and she always gave me a hug. She always had a smile and something kind to say. Continued prayers and love sent to you and your family. She will be missed.
