It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James L. Shirley (Kensett, Arkansas), who passed away on December 3, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymon Shirley and Flossie Shirley; and his siblings, Bobby Shirley, Dena and Mona.
He is survived by: his wife Venus Shirley; his children, James Lewis Shirley Jr. (Debbie) and Phillis Louise Daniel (Donnie); and his grandchildren, James Lewis Shirley III, Jennifer Jivani, Josh, Travis, Bryan, Nathan Daniels and Jasmine Daniels. He is also survived by grandfather, along with many great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cole Funeral Home (111 Wilbur D Mills Ave, Kensett, AR 72082). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at the Shady Grove Cemetery.
