As we bid Elgin Leo farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Elgin Leo is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Gordon; his children, Chris Gordon (Kim), Joy Mattingly (Tony) and Lorrie Stevens (Larry); and his grandchildren, Nathan Mattingly (Megan), Tyler Stevens (Lindsey), Jessica Nicholson (Anthony), Corey Stevens Paul (Angela) and Kelly Drye (Dalton).
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cole Funeral Home (111 Wilbur D Mills Ave, Kensett, AR 72082). A memorial service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family ask for donations to St. Jude hospital at https://www.stjude.org and/or the Humane Society of Searcy.
