He was predeceased by: his parents, Dicie and Charlie; his siblings, Johnny Ray and Lucille; and his son Rob.

He is survived by: his spouse Linda Conway; his children, Searcy, Scott Berry, Brent Berry (Brinda) and Joy Berry (Latt); and his stepdaughter Jeanine Scarbrough (Rodney). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
