He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleveland C. Miles and Mattie Bell Lindsey Miles; his son Alvin Bernard; his wife Bessie Mae Miles; his son Boris Miles; and his siblings, Grover Miles, David Miles, Arvin Miles, Willie Arthur Miles, Lue Rena Miles, Mira Dell Roach, Ida Lee Miles, Betty Miles, Annie Miles and Lela Miles.
He is survived by: his daughters, Shirl Gibson (Garland) of Eldorado, AR and LaSaundra "San" Franks (Charles) of Magnolia, AR; his grandchildren, Shapeka Norful of Eldorado, AR, Jamaal Cade (Cecilia) of Wake Village, TX, Tayon Gibson (Sharon) of Eldorado, AR, Shara Gibson of North Carolina and Ariana Miles of Ft. Worth, TX; his great grandchildren, Matthew Cade, Michelle Cade of Wake Village, TX, Alaina Smith of South Carolina and Amari Suttle of Eldorado, AR; and his siblings-in-law, C. Miles, Thelma Miles and Mattie LaPhere of Eldorado, AR. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
