It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mattie Noble (Junction City, Arkansas), born in Lillie, Louisiana, who passed away on October 5, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend Gabriel S. Lee, Sr. and Vera Belle McClelland Lee; her husband Hozie Noble Jr.; her siblings, Sylvera Henry, Debrorah Frazier, Robert James Lee, Will Young Lee, Reverend Gabriel S. Lee, Jr., Charley Lee, Isaac Lee, Sr. and Reverend Daniel Lee; her sons, Charley Noble and Ray Noble; and her grandchildren, James Hill, Jr. and Dominique Noble.
She is survived by: her children, Eleanor Franklin of Junction City, Arkansas, Alice Hunter of Junction City, Arkansas and Michael Noble of El Dorado, Arkansas; her sister-in-law Ida Mae Lee; her granddaughter-in-law Carla Hill; her son Eddie Meeks; and her close friend Charlene Henry. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
