He was predeceased by: his brother Robert Welch; and his nephew Mark Welch. He is survived by: his children, John Welch (Marla) and Angela Smith (Christopher); his grandchildren, Cameron Reynolds, Kimber Welch, Liana Reynolds and Tori Reynolds; and his great grandchildren, Ella, Callie and Luci.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations in his honor to the Blanchard Springs Baptist Church Building Fund.
