He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Warren Pittser and Dortha Jewel McBroom Pittser; his father-in-law John Brown; and his siblings, Don Pittser, Kenny Pittser, Connie McKee and Diane Hale.

He is survived by: his wife Sally B. Pittser of Junction City; his children, Clay Pittser (Jo) of Three Creeks, Tracy Presley (Dan) of Tulsa, OK, Lorie Pittser of Greenville, NC and Brenda Bacon (Kent) of Jenks, OK; his sister Sandra Deason (Beul) of Tulsa, OK; his mother-in-law Mary Ann Brown of Three Creeks; and his grandchildren, Ciara, Chelsea, Lizzy, Drew, Lauren, Jayme, Ashton, Heather, Bryant, Cole, Kyle and Thomas. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
