With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Margaret Elizabeth Harkey of Judsonia, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 9, 2025 at the age of 76. As Margaret Elizabeth departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Margaret Elizabeth. Though Margaret Elizabeth may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Euil "Bo" Moldan and Lela "Jackie" Draper Moldan; her husband Charles Ray Harkey; and her brother Pete Moldan. She is survived by: her children, Patricia Potter (Michael) of Paragould, Gary Ray Harkey of Paragould, Terry Lee Harkey (Kim) of Harrisburg and Acea Taverna of Judsonia; and her sister Mildred Hale of Judsonia. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Gregg-Weston Funeral Home (510 S Illinois Ave, Harrisburg, AR 72432). A graveside service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery.
