He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Pruitt and Agnes Pruitt (Burkett); his wife Brenda Wood; his daughter Lee Michelle; and his brothers, Hollis Guy and Larry Joe.
He is survived by: his sons, Mark Pruitt (Kathleen) of Beebe and Tim Pruitt (Claire) of Hernando, Mississippi; his grandchildren, Drew Pruitt (Chloe), Miriam Pruitt, Allison Pruitt, Hunter Pruitt, Emma Pruitt and Cody Wood; and his brother Mike Pruitt. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
