We are sad to announce that on December 8, 2024, at the age of 80, Weldon Eugene Tounsand of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Tounsand and Lela Tounsand. He is survived by: his wife Mary Tounsand; his children, Harold Tounsand (Nary) of Jonesboro and Kathy Painter (Rick) of Jonesboro; his brother Art Tounsand of Jonesboro; his grandchildren, Bradly Tounsand and Brittney Richardson (Jonathan); and his great grandchildren, Dahlia and Mackenzie.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Emerson Funeral Home (1629 E Nettleton Ave, Jonesboro, AR 72401). A graveside service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Trinity Cemetery (2354 Trinity Church Rd, Bono, AR 72416).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Weldon's memory.
