We are sad to announce that on February 17, 2025, at the age of 88, Wanda Lee Eagan of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Eddington and Cora Eddington (Whittenburg); her children, Meridth Tims and Roger Tims; her siblings, Franklin Eddington, Elmer Whittenburg, Gardner Eddington, Ted Eddington, Raymond Eddington, Iva Bullard, Ida Spicer, Arzella Triplett and Imogene Eddington; and her former husband Charles E. Tims.
She is survived by: her children, Eddie Tims (Deana) of Newport, Sherry Smith (Benny) of Newport and Terry Hodges (Tim) of Jonesboro; her grandchildren, Kevin McGinnis (Marlana), Ethan McGinnis (Breanna) of Jonesboro, Weston Smith of Newport, Lyndi Layman (Mark) of Jonesboro, Warren Smith of Jonesboro and Eric Tims of Tuckerman; and her great grandchildren, Lillie Layman of Jonesboro, Charley McGinnis of Jonesboro, Kaden McGinnis of Fayetteville and Cameron McGinnis of Fayetteville.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel (2001 AR-367, Newport, AR 72112). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at the Gracelawn Cemetery (110 Gracelawn Dr, Tuckerman, AR 72473).
