It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernice Adams Halter (Jonesboro, Arkansas), who passed away on October 13, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Adams and Ottie Adams; her siblings, Harold, Edward Adams, Bernice Adams, Erline Turner, Cusene Ford, Ima Morgan (Henry) and Marie Bowman (Winston); and her brother-in-law Allen Baker.
She is survived by: her husband Edwin Halter; her children, Petula Buschert, Micheal Perkins (Teresa) and Jessica Grundy (William); her siblings, Billy Adams (Johnnie), Joan Belinc (Marty), Edith Henderson (Murry) and Margret Baker; her sisters-in-law, Mary and Nancy Adams; her grandchildren, Andrew, Leasha, Justin, Gage, Jade, Jacob, Macy, Paige and Gabrielle; and her great grandchildren, Grayson and Evelyn. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers consider a gift in Vernice's name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
