Samuel Leroy O'Dell Obituary

Samuel Leroy O'Dell, 83, of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away on December 27, 2024 at St. Vincent's North in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born on March 2, 1941 in Imboden, Arkansas to James and Lela (Henderson) O'Dell. Samuel was a member of Family Fellowship Baptist Church in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was a 22-year veteran of the Missouri National Guard MP Unit. He also enjoyed watching westerns and spending time with his family.

Survivors include; wife of 61 years: Martha O'Dell of the home; two daughters: Cindy Boling (Ron) of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Kellie Harrison (Mike) of Paragould, Arkansas; six grandchildren: Adrian Boling (Marissa), Asa Boling (Caitlin), Steven Boling, Dillon Harrison, Cameron Harrison (Carlee), Rylie Harrison; four great granddaughters; one sister: Ruby C. Strader (Bob) of Costa Mesa, California; and a host of other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by; his parents: James and Lela (Henderson) O'Dell; one granddaughter: Mallory Paige Harrison; one brother: Thomas Verlan O'Dell; and one sister Myra Spencer.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Family Fellowship Baptist Church in Jonesboro, Arkansas with Bro. Ferrel Duffel officiating.
