He was predeceased by: his parents, Sammie Coy and Alene Coy (Hall); his wife Vickie Lynn Coy; and his son-in-law Gerald Carlyle. He is survived by: his children, Sammie Coy (Carla) of Brighton, Tennessee, Stacie Coy Carlyle of Jonesboro and Stephanie Coy Robertson (Mike) of Paragould; his stepdaughter Angela Elliott of Paragould; his sister Laneta Coy Thompson of Trumann; his grandchildren, Abbie Hood (Josh), Eryn Coy, Kaylyn Coy, Paige Strode (Saben) and Nick Coy; and his cousin Janet Mcgregor of Cherokee Village.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jackson's Newport Funeral Home (1900 Malcolm Ave, Newport, AR 72112). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Gracelawn Cemetery (110 Gracelawn Dr, Tuckerman, AR 72473).
