He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Gartman and Leila Gartman (Wooten); his brother Rick Gartman; and his father-in-law Earl Watkins. He is survived by: his wife Suzanne; his children, Ross Gartman (Denise), Lance Gartman (Leslie), Bart Gartman (Sheila) and Lori Richards (Philip); his grandchildren, Dalton Lacy, Jessie Gartman, Sydney Gartman, Noah Gartman, Tre Hedge, Logan Clippard, Emily Hughes, Boone Gartman, Alli Gartman, Bryce Ivey and Sawyer Ivey; his great grandchild Corby Hughes; his siblings, Barbara Neal (Vernon, Jr.), Jennifer Lipford (Darren) and Tim Gartman (Brenda); his uncle Jim Wooten (Marvine); his aunt Loreda McGill; his brother-in-law Wayne Watkins; and his nephew Gabriel Gartman. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
