He was predeceased by: his father Edward Forkel; and his former wife Laura Forkel. He is survived by: his wife Jacki Forkel; his sons, Gary Forkel (Lynne) of Southern California and Brian Forkel (Sara) of Southern California; and his sisters, Sherry Arbuckle (Dick) of Eugene and Patty Strautman of Eugene, Oregon. He is also survived by several grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a lifetime of friends.
