She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Cooksey and Nellie Cooksey; her husband Dr. Donald E. Wright; and her brothers, Allyn, Billy and Darrell Cooksey.
She is survived by: her children, Alan Wright (Doris) of Hot Springs, Donnell Reece (Mike) of Gamaliel, Robert Wright (Kim) of Celina and Susan Chadwick (Kevin) of Jonesboro. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, as well as numerous friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the Don and Myra Education Scholarship Endowment at Arkansas State University or to the Alzheimer's Association for dementia research.
