She was predeceased by: her parents, Bearl Caples and Effie Caples (Gable); her former husband Edward Dye; her husband James Wiley Holt; and her siblings, Paul Caples, Herschel Caples, Shelby Caples, Doris Davis and Charlotte Wilson.
She is survived by: her daughter Glinda Carolyn Butts (William Ladell Butts); her grandchildren, Angela Carter (Mike), Stoney Hall (Terrie) and Deanna Turner; her great grandchildren, Leah, Clay, Will, Madison and Cole; and her siblings, Wayne Caples (Emma), Bearl Caples Jr. (Dorothy), Norma Cole (Bob), June Hamilton (Leon) and Shirley Piker (Frank). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made in Mildred's memory to the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House of Jonesboro.
