He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph O. Pankey and Loretta Pankey. He is survived by: his caregiver Patricia Lee (Dusten) of Brookland, AR; his brother Steve Pankey (Debbie) of Allen, TX; and his cousins, Karen Hollandsworth of Covington, TN, Lisa Riley of Memphis, TN and Wesley Elliott of Washington.

A graveside service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery (3910 Harrisburg Rd, Jonesboro, AR 72404).
