Melba Witt Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melba Witt of Jonesboro, Arkansas, who passed away on June 1, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Wells and Myrtle Wells (Pickering); her children, Terry Witt, Gerald Witt and Sharon Dohner; and her siblings, Earl Wells, Jim Wells, Carolyn Whaley, Wilma Donnelly and Eva Wells.

She is survived by: her children, Larry Witt of Harrisburg, Joe Witt of Parkin, Jimmy Witt of Amagon, Donnie Witt, Ronnie Witt of Harrisburg, Shirley Witt (Bill) of Harrisburg and Karen Hubbard (Clay) of Jonesboro; and her sisters, Dorothy Gunter of South Haven and Christine Brown of Harrisburg. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.
