She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry Lee and Evelyn Leon Hale (Knight); her husband Jim York; and her siblings, Don Hale and Sue Armstrong.
She is survived by: her siblings, Terry Hale (Cathy), Jane Griffin (Danny) and Judy Marshall (Rex). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
