He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Walter Myers Smith and Allene Matthews Boyd; and his sister Sue Diaz. He is survived by: his wife Carmen Smith (Parrish); his siblings, Dr. Kirk Smith (Barbara) and Barbara "Loal" Luna; his children, Lauryn Williams (Dan Smith), Austin Smith, Natalie Harrell (Logan) and Erica Haynes; and his grandchildren, Heidi, Bennett Harrell, Arthur Williams, Salem Haynes and Aria Adams. He is also survived by Nieces, nephews, cousins, and a lifetime of dear friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Emerson Memorial Chapel (1629 E Nettleton Ave, Jonesboro, AR 72401). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Bernards Cancer Care or the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House.
