It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marion Atherton (Jonesboro, Arkansas), born in Goldthwaite, Texas, who passed away on August 26, 2018, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brothers, Bruce Atherton and Edward Atherton. He is survived by: his wife Anita Atherton of Jonesboro; his children, David Atherton of Jonesboro, Debra Sterling of Jonesboro and Lisa Roberts (Keith) of Jonesboro; and his grandchildren, Garrett Roberts (Michelle), Kyle Roberts, Cameron Roberts, Michael Sterling, Karen Freeman, Doug McDaniel (Natalie), Chris McDaniel (Sarah) and Dustin McDaniel. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
