She was predeceased by: her husband Eugene Heflin (Sonny) of Trumann Arkansas; her parents, Rosa Lee Phillips and Glenn; her brothers, Bill and Junior; and her son Gary.
She is survived by: her children, Gail Newcom and Mike (Joan); her grandchildren, Doug Sagley (Lisa), Stan Sagley, Spencer Heflin, Grant Heflin (Kate) and Libby Swearingen (Reid); her stepgranddaughters, Sara Fay Egan (Merrick), Bethany Peters Stooksberry and Grace Peters; and her nieces, Rita White, Ann Freeman and Janet Houchin. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts be made to Central Baptist Church in Jonesboro, The Family Crisis Center or the charity of your choice.
