He was predeceased by: his parents, Indalesio Resendiz and Dolores Resendiz; his son Jose Resendiz; and his granddaughter Maira Resendiz. He is survived by: his wife Soledad Garcia; his children, Patrica Resendiz, Javier Resendiz, Berta Resendiz, Veronica Resendiz, Jorge Resendiz, Sandra Resendiz, Carlos Resendiz, Marisol Resendiz and Alejandro Resendiz; and his siblings, Toño Resendiz, Lurdes Resendiz and Pilar Resendiz. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
