Loy Woods Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 2, 2025, at the age of 74, Loy Woods of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Loy had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Loy may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Woods and Lucille Woods (Dunlap); and his siblings, Larry Woods of Clover Bend, Terry Woods of Dexter, MO, Shirley Williams of Dexter and Sharon Brown of Jonesboro.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Woods; his children, David Woods and Kristen Woods Stutts; and his grandsons, Davis Woods and Spencer Stutts.

A celebration of life was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home (1900 W Washington Ave, Jonesboro, AR 72401).
