It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard Dacus of Jonesboro, Arkansas, who passed away on April 20, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Leonard Dacus to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Luster W. Dacus and Alva Dacus (McCracken); and his son Christopher Alan Dacus. He is survived by: his wife Louise Dacus (Barnett); his daughters, Shelby Pfeifer (Chris) of Jonesboro, Sandy Dacus of Jonesboro and Cherly Williams (Greg) of Jonesboro; his brother Carroll "Bill" Dacus of Jonesboro; his grandchildren, Cheyenne Williamson (Derek) of Maumelle, Christopher Williams of Colt, Mikayla Harris (Zach) of Brookland and Sarah Williams of Jonesboro; his great grandchild Levi Ellis Harris; his niece Sherry Copeland (Dacus); and his nephew Billy Dacus.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home (1900 W Washington Ave, Jonesboro, AR 72401). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Roller Farmers Union Funeral Home (1900 W Washington Ave, Jonesboro, AR 72401).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Bud's name to the Central Baptist Church building fund.
