It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lance Wayne Smith of Jonesboro, Arkansas, born in Benton, Arkansas, who passed away on October 31, 2023, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Smith and Carolyn Smith. He is survived by: his wife Laura Smith; his daughter Whitlee Smith; and his sisters, Corinthia Humphrey (Eric) of Quitman, AR, Bridget Cook (Dan) of Hopkinsville, KY., Karen Erney (Brad) of Jonesboro and Dallas Benson (Kelly) of Jonesboro. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Temple Baptist Church or the NEA Humane Society in Lance's memory.
