Kathryn Jane Cambron Obituary

Kathryn Jane Cambron, 70, of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away on December 27, 2024 at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born on September 1, 1954 in Trumann, Arkansas to Lester and Pearl (Throgmartin) Thompson. Kathryn was a member of Lunsford Baptist Church. She was a National Poet Society Winner. She enjoyed reading, gardening, listening to gospel music, baking, telling jokes, reminiscing on the old days, and spending time with her family.

Survivors include; one daughter: Kristi Jones (Nick) of the home; two granddaughters: Keely Sadler (Justus) of Bono, Arkansas and Sydney Kelems (Jake) of Powhatan, Arkansas; two great grandsons: Jackson Sadler and Luke Sadler; two sisters; four brothers; and a host of other family and friends.

She is preceded in death by; parents: Lester and Pearl (Throgmartin) Thompson; husband of 54 years: Eugene Cambron; two sons: Jonathan Cambron and Stephen Cambron; four brothers: Edward Thompson, John Thompson, Dearl Thompson, Deward Thompson; and one sister: Ophelia Wilkins.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Broadway Avenue Missionary Baptist Church in Bay, Arkansas with pastor Rick Jensen officiating.
