Joseph Darryl Fulgham Obituary
Joseph Darryl Fulgham, born August 12, 1952, in Blytheville, Arkansas, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones, at the age of 72.
Darryl, as he was affectionately called, was a devoted husband to his wife, Melody Wilson Fulgham, and a loving father to his three daughters: Starla Fulgham Rounsaville (Hunter) of Armorel, Arkansas; Brandi Fulgham (Joey) of Fort Myers, Florida; and Holly Fulgham Galluzzo (Joe) of Fort Myers, Florida.
He was a proud grandfather to four grandchildren: Brayden and Zane Rounsaville of Armorel, Arkansas and Nicholas and Tyler Galluzzo of Fort Myers, Florida. Darryl is also survived by his nephew, Nathan Lomax, who stood by him when he was most needed, along with many cherished cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Darryl was the beloved son of the late Joseph Lawrence Fulgham and Elsie Jackson Fulgham. He was preceded in death by his siblings: Joan Fulgham Gillihan, Carolyn Fulgham Baugus, Shirley Fulgham Cline, and Danny Fulgham.
A graduate of Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Darryl built a successful career with Southwestern Bell. Beyond his professional achievements, he was known for his deep love of music, especially his talent as a drummer. Music was a central part of his life, and he spent countless hours sharing his passion with others. Darryl was also an avid animal lover who displayed kindness to all living creatures.
Darryl's life was shaped by his faith. He devoted many hours to studying the Bible and joyfully shared his insights with others. His love for Jehovah God and his unwavering faith in the promise of the resurrection sustained him throughout his life.
Darryl's legacy is one of love, music, and faith. His warmth, humor, and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A celebration of life service will be held on January 20, 2025, at 2:30 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 5618 Summer Place, Jonesboro, AR 72404.
