He was predeceased by: his father Jim Sid. He is survived by: his wife Joyce A. Mize; his daughter Pamula Kristina Mize of Jonesboro; and his siblings, Sidney Mize of Jonesboro, Sandra Padon of Bay and Karen Hancock of Jonesboro.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked to please consider donations to Disabled American Veterans.
