He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha White and Otis White of Williamsburg, KY; his siblings, Elbert White of Oak Ridge, TN and Orene White Lawson of Cincinnati, OH.; his former wife Dorothy Siler White; and his wife Janet Dunn Bowman White.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Chery Cratty of Smithville, Tennessee. and George Bowman of Smithville, Tennessee.; and also, Nancy Coriden (Kevin) of Olathe, Ellen Bergstrom (Nik), Sam Coriden, Martha Rettig (Jeff) of Kansas City, Kate Rettig (Chad Tysdahl), Megan Rettig (Tim Brooks), Cynthia, Kristin Backus (Matt) and Laura.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Magnolia Baptist Church for the benefit of the Friends and Neighbors Network or the Diaper Bank.
