He is survived by: his wife Jeanie Hovis; his son Mitchell Hovis (Beth); his stepson Jason Tharp (Ada); his sister Freida Nidaver; and his siblings-in-law, Barb Hovis, Lou Hovis, Loretta Willcut (David), Mona Johnson (Randy), Brenda Arnold (Michael), Melinda Calhoun (Shane) and Don Jones (Felicia). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
