He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeff Mullen and Inez Simpson Mullen; his wife Cindy Mullen; his sisters, Brenda Wood, Donna Rolland and Gaye Rolland; and his brothers-in-law, Glenn Rolland and Larry Rolland.

He is survived by: his children, Sonia Boling (Ted) of Jonesboro, Candis Stephens (Brett) of Cherry Valley and Ryan Baldridge of Brookland; his siblings, Lester Mullen (Barbara) of Monette and Marla Ann Mullen of Frisco, Texas; his brother-in-law Vernon Wood of Jonesboro; and his grandchildren, Cale Boling, Kinley Boling, Celeste Robinette, Ciara Stephens, Bridger Stephens and Olivia Baldridge. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many other family and friends.

“So sorry to hear this sad news about my cousin. When we were younger and visited Arkansas, Steve and I used to go on shopping trips with my mom (Lavene) and Aunt Inez. Steve and I spent a lot of time together and I remember listening to the newest Meatloaf album in our teens. The last time I saw him (at Aunt Suda's funeral), we talked and laughed about the old times. Sending sympathy to all family members. Rest in peace cousin! Love, Marsha Simpson Tappan”
