He was predeceased by: his parents, Morgan Stroud and Ollie Beavers Stroud; and his wife Barbara Stroud. He is survived by: his daughters, Julia Roberts of Jonesboro and Donnie Bloom of Jonesboro; and his grandchildren, Ginny Dunlap, Barbara Dunlap, Jonna Reid (Kevin), Zacre Bloom (Rocky) and Dereque Falls (Brian). He is also survived by several great-grandchildren; his great-great-grandchildren, and a lifetime of friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Emerson Memorial Chapel (1629 E Nettleton Ave, Jonesboro, AR 72401). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Forest Home Church of the Nazarene, 2403 Ritter Dr. Jonesboro, AR 72401.
