In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire his loved ones, keeping James' spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony James and Helen Jones (Donnelly); and his sister Maurene Jones. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Jones (Davis); his children, Tony Jones, Richard Jones (Amy), Timothy Gregson and Tonya Stevenson (Chris); and his sister Susan Gulizia. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home (1900 W Washington Ave, Jonesboro, AR 72401).
