He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Daugherty and Gertrude Daugherty; and his brothers, Jim Daugherty, Donald Daugherty and Kenny Daugherty.

He is survived by: his family Ike; his wife Reta Freeman Daugherty of Jonesboro, Arkansas; his children, Sherry Hester (Jeff Hester) of Memphis, Tennessee, Kelley Oppenheim (Kenny) of Cooper City, Florida, Laura Diamond (Kevin Diamond) of Bono, Arkansas, Pam Popejoy of Memphis, Tennessee and Shawn Casey (Adelle Casey) of Plano, Texas; his grandchildren, Alex Long, Casey Oppenheim, Emily Diamond, Rachel Casey, Ashley Diamond and Jaxson Casey; and his siblings, Barbara Peterson (Donald Peterson) of West Virginia, Fred Daugherty of Maryland, Reva Norwig of Maryland, Lois Boles of Maryland and Billie Joe Bonolis of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
