She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett "Jerald" Smith and Frieda Mae Smith (Sawyers); her granddaughter Tonya Nicole; and her sisters, Norma Simpson, Connie Smith and Glenda Morrow.
She is survived by: her husband J. L. Simpson; her children, David Simpson (Karen), Steven Simpson (Karen) and Debra Niswonger (Jerry); her grandchildren, Joshua, Brandi, Erika, Katelyn, Hunter and Grant; and her brother Dexter Smith.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home (1900 W Washington Ave, Jonesboro, AR 72401).
