He was predeceased by: his father Wesley; his son Rick Swan; and his siblings, Marvin, Harold, Donnie, Hazel and Laverne.
He is survived by: his children, Marcus Swan (Stormie), Thia Rogers (Robert Crick), Debbie Chavez (Chris), Kimberly Huffman (Rodney) and Debra Swan (Patty). He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and many friends.
