We are sad to announce that on November 12, 2023, at the age of 82, Gerald Wayne Shipman of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Obid Shipman and Viola Shipman; and his siblings, Alice Shipman, Nellie Weaver, Robert, Marvin, James and Larry Shipman.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Shipman; his daughters, Patricia Martinez (Simon) of California, Paula Howerton (Stover) of Virginia and Amy Lewis of Jonesboro; and his sister Shirley Shipman of Jonesboro. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and host of nieces, nephews, close neighbors, and friends.
