He was predeceased by: his parents, Della Penter (Fletcher) and Perry Penter. He is survived by: his wife Pauline Marie Penter; his children, Rick Penter (Sharol) and Deborah Hester; and his grandchildren, Holly Brown (Brad), Matthew Browning, Meredith Gann, Camron Penter (Martina), Cassie Danley (Caleb) and Austin Penter (Albany).
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Nettleton Church of Christ.
