With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gay Tate of Jonesboro, Arkansas, who passed away on August 28, 2024 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gay Tate to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Glidewell and Pearl Glidewell; her husband Evert "Junior" Tate; her son Michael Tate; her brothers, Bill Glidewell, Ray Glidewell and Gerald Glidewell; and her grandson-in-law Nathan Stallings.
She is survived by: her children, Danny Tate (Kim) and Phyllis Armstrong (Gary Eaker); her sister Joy Self (Larry) of Jonesboro; and her grandchildren, Crystal Crocker (Greg), April Stallings, Paige Bobo (Brad), Jessica Peck (Greg), Christopher Armstrong, Tiffany Tate and Tamara Cox. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
