Gary Wayne Gibbs Obituary

Gary Wayne Gibbs, 67, of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away at his home on April 9, 2024. He was born on October 17, 1956 in Detroit, Michigan to William and Maybelle (Jennings) Gibbs.

Gary was a commercial artist for over 50 years in the Jonesboro area. Some of his notable works were; the towers at Riceland, hand painted Pepsi Cola signs, Bill Clinton's campaign work and many other politicians in the area. Gary enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include; loving wife: Diane Gibbs of the home; one son: Shannon East (Kala); one daughter: Brandy Wiiest (Josh): four grandchildren: Allyson Turner (Garrett), Spencer "Dude" Wiiest, Katelynn East, and Bella Wiiest; one sister: Gail Holt of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee; and a host of other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by; his parents; one sister: Gaye McCarter; and the best fur baby: Casey.

A memorial service will be held and published at a later date.
