Garfield Edgar Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 15, 2025, at the age of 92, Garfield Edgar of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Garfield Edgar to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Cleve Edgar and Ruth Merrell Edgar; his grandchild Sydney Halina Wray; and his siblings, Alfred, Clint, Jerral, George, Quincy, G. W. Edgar, Bernas Atherton, Verna Prickett, Alta Carroll and June Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine Ginger Edgar; his children, Cathy Seidenstricker (Robert) of Hazen, Clint Edgar (Nena) of The Woodlands and Ginger Wray (Robbie) of Jonesboro; and his grandchildren, Ellen Locke (Andrew) of Jasper, Georgia, Evan Edgar of Jonesboro and Stuart Seidenstricker (Mallory) of Hazen, Arkansas.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Emerson Funeral Home (1629 E Nettleton Ave, Jonesboro, AR 72401). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pine Log Cemetery Association.
