It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Freda Mae Koons of Jonesboro, Arkansas, who passed away on April 3, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Waymon and Opal Winebaugh Waymon; her husband Billy James Koons; her grandson Ray Eads; her siblings, Glenda Lemmons, Earnest Waymon and Kenneth Waymon; and her sons-in-law, Ray Brown and Rick George.
She is survived by: her daughters, Joyce Brown of Jonesboro, AR. and Brenda George of Bono, AR.; her grandchildren, C. J. George (Sarah) of Jonesboro, AR., Dustin George (Sarah) of Jonesboro, AR., Chris George (Stacey) of Jonesboro, AR., Madison George of Jonesboro, AR. and Brandi Davis (Peter) of Paragould, AR.; and her sister Geneva Waymon of Pocahontas, AR.. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
