Frank Anthony Navarro Obituary

Frank Anthony Navarro, 60, of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away suddenly on July 12, 2024 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital. Frank was born in Chicago, Illinois on September 30, 1963 to George and Vita Navarro. He was raised in Cicero, Illinois. He got married to Melody (Hardin) Navarro on April 1, 1995 in Chicago, Illinois.

Frank worked as a Correctional Officer at the Cook County Department of Corrections for 30 years before retiring and moving to Jonesboro, Arkansas. Upon retiring as a corrections officer, he worked at the Olivetan Benedictine Sisters of Holy Angels Convent as a cook. He enjoyed going to see plays, concerts, and traveling, along with living life to the fullest through simple pleasures especially cooking and spending time with his family and friends.

Frank was preceded in death by; his parents: George and Vita (DeSimone) Navarro.

He is survived by; his wife: Melody Navarro; two brothers: George and David; one sister: Judy Navarro; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins; and other beloved family, friends, and coworkers.

The family has requested private arrangements under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
