It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Dwight Hamby of Jonesboro, Arkansas, who passed away on September 17, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Hamby and Auddie Hamby; and his brothers, Jackie and Gary Hamby. He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his children, Amy Hamby of Jonesboro and Justin Hamby (Cassie) of Fayetteville, Arkansas.; his sisters, Glenna Mathes of Jonesboro, Chrylene Noblin of Fayetteville, Connie Wortham of Violet Hill and Tammy Deiss of Birmingham, Alabama.; his grandchildren, Dakota Brewer, Jacob Brewer, Lexi Rost, Olivia Hamby, Jessika Price, Adyson Hamby and Jack Hamby; and his great grandchild Abby Brewer.
