She was predeceased by: her parents, L. W. Maple and Lida McCarty Maple; and her siblings, Glenn, Bobby, Alvin, Donald Maple and JoAnna Miller.
She is survived by: her husband Ralph Gossett; her daughter Debra Rorie of Jonesboro; her siblings, Leonard Maple of O'Kean and Peggy Whitlow of Walnut Ridge; her grandsons, Jasen Rorie of Jonesboro and Nicholas Rorie (Amanda) of Jonesboro; and her great grandchildren, Carly, Hannah, Kenedy, Denver Rorie, Breanna and Jason Speaks.
