With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Mae Haynes of Jonesboro, Arkansas, who passed away on December 6, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Hisaw and Calliada Lowry Hisaw; her daughter Teresa Morgan; and her siblings, Allan Sims, Alvie Sims, Luther Sims, Mirl Sims, Estel Sims, Betrice Sims, Sis Sims, Elsie Sims, Lougean Sims, Olene Sims and Linda Hisaw.
She is survived by: her husband Willis Edward "Gene" Haynes of Jonesboro; her children, Jimmy Steven Haynes of Jonesboro and Lisa Ahl (Wesley Davis) of Jonesboro; and her grandchildren, Billie Morgan, Shane Morgan, Lee Morgan, Maxx Blanford, Kelly Giles, Becca Sims, Nicole Sims and C. J. Sims. She is also survived by several great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Delancey Funeral Home (200 Miles St, Lepanto, AR 72354). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
